|  KMHD 89.1 has offered its listeners "the full spectrum of jazz" since its first broadcast the winter of 1984. Licensed and operated by Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, KMHD broadcasts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and plays such jazz artists as Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Horace Silver, Miles Davis, Sarah Vaughn, and Dave Brubeck, to name but a few. Their jazz and blues music library is extensive, with over 6,000 LPs and CDs. We offer the jazz connoisseur a variety of both traditional and contemporary jazz. KMHD 89.1 is consistently one of the highest-rated jazz stations in the United States. There is no question why they are called "The Jazz Station."
