I have in vain been trying to get hold of it. By chance, I met its director, John Jeremy, at a jazz festival in London a few years ago. Even he could not sell me a copy. Have you got any answers or tips about 'The long night...'?
(Yesterday Norwegian showed a new tabloid (BBC!) 2001 documentary on Billie Holiday, appropriately named 'A sensational lady' - a huge disappointment, focussing on the saucy bits of her private life rather than on her musical achievements. This made me even more eager to try to obtain a copy of John Jeremy's film.)
