Clubscene (previous Clubscene articles are available at the Clubscene Archives page) Clubscene was started by longtime jazz supporters, Steve Kullowatz and Jim Corcoran, to illuminate the local jazz scene and get people out to support live jazz. This feature provides a glimpse into the extraordinary people who are sharing their jazz talent through live performance and those who are participating in many other ways to make this such a vital jazz community. These articles will give you a feel for the music, and the venues that host live jazz. They are personal, focusing on the artists, the venues, jazz personalities, or simply the listening experience. They are expressed in poetry and prose. They are from the heart of the listener. Each writer has a unique perspective.
